译者能力与专硕翻译教学——简论美因茨大学翻译培养模式对我国MTI翻译教学的启示 被引量:12

摘要 全球范围内语言服务行业对翻译人员能力及素质的要求始终主导着翻译研究和教学,设立以培养"高层次、应用型、专业性口笔译人才"为目标的"翻译硕士专业学位"(MTI)是国内翻译教学对这一挑战的直接回应。在起步阶段,研究界就翻译教学中的一个核心问题,展开了持续深入的探讨:即在培养专业性、实用型翻译人才中,翻译教学究竟应培养译者的哪些能力?该问题在德国翻译研究界早已受重视多年,期间已取得的成果和积累的经验,对专硕教学颇具学习和借鉴意义。本文将分析德国美因茨大学翻译学院笔译专业硕士的培养模式,探讨它开发译者能力中的侧重点,试图为专硕教学提供新思路。 Requirements for ability and quality of translators in worldwide language services branch have always been the focus of the research and teaching of translation. The establishment of the Degree"MTI"aiming to train high-level,practical,professional translators and interpreters is the direct response of domestic translation teaching institutions for this challenge. In the initial stage,a core issue in the discussion of the research and teaching of translation is: what makes the most important ability of professional and practical translators and how should the translation teaching help to develop this ability? This question has been discussed for many years by the German translation communities and many results have been achieved during the teaching experience. This paper analyzes the Germany training system based on the functional approach by the School of Translation,University Mainz and tries to provide new ideas for the MTI-Education in China.
