摘要
随着移动互联网、云计算、大数据的迭代升级,语音识别、语义分析、文本转换、语音合成等自然语言处理技术日渐成熟,业已向以翻译为代表的现代语言服务领域渗透和融合,对传统翻译方式进行着前所未有的重构,也使翻译研究进入真正意义上的"技术转向"时代。口译技术是翻译研究领域的新论题,是对以往主流口译研究的开创性延伸,并会对口译实践生态产生深远的影响。本文基于现有的有关研究成果,借鉴技术哲学的核心观点,探讨口译技术的存在理据,界定口译技术的本质内涵,论述口译技术的多元价值,以期形成对口译技术"名"与"实"的整体认识,为建构口译技术的宏观概念框架提供一定的借鉴。
Against the backdrop of mobile internet, cloud computing and big data, such new technologies as sound recognition, semantic analysis, text （speech） transfer and sound synthesis have reached a higher level of maturity and found extensive appli- cation in the language service industry, thus bringing about an unprecedented change in the traditional model of translation and leading Translation Studies （TS） into an authentic era of technological turn. Interpreting technology as an emerging area of TS is expected to extend the conventional paradigms of Interpreting Studies and exert a far-reaching influence on the real-world land- scape of interpreting practice. Drawing on the relevant research findings and the key ideas from the Philosophy of Technology, the present paper explores the name and nature of interpreting technology so as to acquire a holistic understanding of this central concept and inspire the building of a broad conceptual framework that may logically fit into Holmes＇ mad of TS.
