摘要
本研究对比14名英语专业本科生和10名英语本族语学生回忆性口头报告,调查二语口语非流利停顿心理机制及其与一语口语非流利停顿心理机制的异同。研究结果显示二语停顿心理机制类型复杂。二语与一语停顿心理机制之间既存在相同点,也存在明显不同。相同点有:停顿心理机制既有前瞻性,也有回顾性;既涉及言语内容和形式的加工,也涉及对言语内容和形式的监控。不同点有:二语停顿心理机制更复杂,更多涉及言语形式,尤其是形式准确性,更集中于形成器。本文在此基础上提出一语和二语停顿心理机制量化对比模型。
This study investigates the psychological mechanisms underlying disfluent pauses in L2 oral production through comparing the retrospective verbal reports by 14 Chinese English majors and 10 native English students.The results show that the two groups share some similarities but also exhibit significant differences in terms of the underlying pausing mechanisms.The similarities include the existence of both prospective and retrospective pausing mechanisms and the relevance of pausing mechanisms to both planning and monitoring of language content/forms.The differences include the greater complexity,the greater relevance to language forms and form accuracy,and the salient clustering in the Formulator for L2 pausing mechanisms.Finally,on the basis of the results,a quantified contrastive model of L1 and L2 pausing mechanisms is proposed.
