摘要
本文通过对本科学生和硕士研究生的英语主客观测试成绩进行对比,分析了目前研究生英语写作中存在的问题。研究发现:大部分学生的客观测试成绩高于主观作文成绩,其间的偏差表明了目前研究生英语学习中忽略语言运用能力的现象,其英语写作能力亟待提高,研究生英语写作教学大纲、教材、授课方法等方面有待于进一步改革。
Writing is very important in language study. A lot of work has been done on how to enhance students' English writing level. Most studies focus on the college level rather than the graduate level. To study the writing problems among graduate students, we conducted an examination for both the graduates and the undergraduate students to assess their grammatical knowledge and writing ability. After comparing the results from the two groups, we found that most students' writing scores are lower than those of language knowledge. This implies that practical language performance ability is neglected in present graduate students' study.
