摘要
民歌是中国文化重要的组成部分。其浓郁的地方特色和独特的方言却使中国民歌的英译成为难题。许渊冲的"三美论"在翻译界享誉盛名,不仅适用于诗歌的翻译,也适用于民歌的翻译。文章以"三美论"为指导,从意美、音美、形美三个角度探讨中国民歌的英译。
Folk songs are an important part of Chinese culture. However, the strong local characteristics and unique dialects make it difficult to translate them from Chinese to English. Meanwhile, XYZ (XU Yuan-chong) ’s Three Beauty Theory is famous in the circle of translation. It can not only be applied to the translation of poems, but also be suitable to the translation of folk songs. The paper will analyze the C-E translation of folk songs form the perspective of the beauty of meaning, sound and form.
