摘要
本研究抽选国内55个翻译本科办学点的培养方案,通过将其中的专业课程设置分为翻译理论类、翻译基础及技能类、含有中国元素的课程三大类进行统计,进而对这些课程的布局、开课数量与具体设置进行分类与分析,研究发现:我国翻译本科专业对于翻译理论、翻译史、翻译研究类课程的重视程度有所提高;该类专业的办学目标偏向于实用型口笔译人才培养;课程设置对于翻译技术应用的重视程度很高;少数办学点有颇具特色的翻译课程模块;课程设置与中国文化走出去形成了初步对接;有些办学点的课程设置尚未采取翻译专业的视角或仍以英语专业为框架办翻译专业,存在不正确的理念和不负责的态度。总体上看,我国的翻译本科专业在办学理念和办学能力上有了较大的提升。
A sample investigation has been conducted into 55 undergraduate translation modules in China.With a statistic classification of the courses in terms of those on translation theories,on translation basics and techniques,and on Chinese language and culture and with an analysis of the structuring,the number and the design of the courses,it is found that undergraduate translation modules in China have made improvement in offering courses on translation theories,histories,and researches,the goal of most modules is oriented to cultivating translators and interpreters for practical purposes,and there is generally a high attachment to the teaching of translation technology.It is also found that a few modules have very distinctive orientations,the course designs in general have indications of support to the going-out of Chinese culture though some modules are found not taking the needed translation-major perspective or in fact still taking an English-major perspective in course-design.In general,there are evidences that undergraduate translation modules in China have made much improvement both theoretically and practically.
