摘要
当前,翻译技术的快速发展和广泛应用已经成了一种无可回避的现实,翻译研究者必须积极面对翻译技术发展所带来的新现象和问题。进行翻译技术方面的研究,除了需要对技术开发可行性和技术应用有效性进行考察之外,我们还需要对翻译技术开发和应用过程中所涉的伦理关系和伦理后果进行思考。本文论证了翻译技术的伦理属性,分析了翻译技术的伦理影响,预测了翻译技术发展的伦理风险,并基于此提出了开展翻译技术伦理研究需要关注的若干课题。
Faced with the undeniable fact that translation technology is rapidly developing along with its wide application,translation scholars need to look into the new phenomena caused and new problems brought by the fast development of translation technology.To do research into translation technology,we need not only to study the feasibility of developing and the efficiency of applying new technologies, but also to ponder the ethics of technical behaviors of translation.This paper discusses the ethicality of translation technology, analyses its ethical effects,and predicts its ethical risks,before suggesting some tasks that could be part of a further research agenda on the issue.
