摘要
微型学习是新媒介生态系统中发展出的新型学习模式,对医学院校外语类课程有其突出的适切性与可行性。本文基于"微型学习"概念,尝试构建一种微型学习与翻转课堂教学相融合的混合型教学模式。教学实践和教学反馈显示基于"微型学习"的英文医学文献阅读教学模式得到了学生的普遍认可,能够提升其医学语境下阅读能力与语言运用能力。
The new media ecosystem has given rise to a new learning theory, the micro-learning, which has demon- strated unique applicability and feasibility for English for medical purpose (EMP) courses. Considering the features of curriculums at medical schools, this paper attempts to create a mixed teaching model with a combination of micro- learning and flipped classroom. The teaching experiment and feedback from students both suggest that this model for this EMP reading eourses receive approval of students and is able to improve their reading capability as well as the language proficiency in the medical context.
