摘要
自从20世纪以来,现代光学和光子学科技迅猛发展,其影响渗透到各学科领域;与此同时,英语语言出现了不少新术语,这就给翻译工作带来了一定的困难。本文阐述了现代光学和光子学术语的特点,指出翻译这两个领域科技文献会遇到的瓶颈,并给出有关的想法和建议。
Since the twentieth century, modem optics and photomcs have been developing very last, melr re- search and technology penetrating to various scientific fields, including English language. There are many new terms emerging in English, which cause some difficulties for translation. This article expounds the characteris- tics of the terms on optics and photonies and points out some bottleneck problems encountered in the translating of their documents, meanwhile with some suggestions and solutions proposed on the translation.
