摘要
外语学习过程中,失去学习动机是导致语言学习失败的主要原因。通过对113名非英语专业大学生英语学习去动机化现象的访谈及问卷调查,发现最显著的去动机因素有学习态度、学习策略和信心缺乏的内部因素及教师能力、教学风格和学习环境的外部因素。在对调查结果分析的基础上提出了有针对性的缓解措施,以降低去动机因素的影响,实现学习者取得更佳语言学习效果的目的。
Demotivation is the primary reason resulting in learner's giving up and failure in EFL learning. Investigating 113 College English students by interview and questionnaire, the present study aims to explore the influencing factors and solutions to demotivation. Results indicated that the internal factors including lack of positive learning attitude, learning strategies deficiency and lack of learning confidence and external factors including teachers' competence, teachers' teaching styles, and inadequate learning environment turn out to be, the main factors resulting in EFL demofivation. To deal with demotivation, this paper provides strategies for improving college EFL teaching.
