摘要
众所周知,注释是译者为了达到翻译效果的一种必需手段,也是翻译领域的核心成分;同时,也起着文化交流与传递的工作。然而,在翻译的过程中,由于使用不同的语言文字,具有不同的文化传统、社会背景、生活习惯等,译者常常发生当注不注、繁简失度等问题。为此,该文从注释的分类、意义和应用三个方面分别加以阐述和举例。文章最后得出结论,恰当的添加注释可以解决不可译的难题、避免曲解、增强译文的可理解性、避免文化信息的损失,发挥其在翻译文化中应有的作用。
Annotation is an essential mean for translator to achieve its translation purpose, and an important part of translation. At the same time, it also plays a role of cultural exchange and transfer. However, in the progress of translation, due to use different languages, with different cultural traditions, social backgrounds, habits and customs, etc, the translators often meet the trouble of adding annotation in improper place. This thesis mainly discusses the classification of annotations, the significance of annotations and the application of annotations while gives some explanations and examples. The thesis concludes that the appropriate annota-tions can solve the problem of untranslatable, avoid misinterpretation and the loss of cultural information, finally enhance the in-telligibility of the translation and play its proper role.
