基于“全面觉醒”思想的“医学人文英语”课程美育实施路径探索

摘要 美育是关乎人的感性和理性整体发展的全人教育,具有不可替代的育人功能。“医学人文英语”课程具备美育功能,但在目前教学中存在美育目标不清晰、学生对美育重要性认识不足、课时不够、教材内容设置不完善等问题。基于玛克辛·格林的“全面觉醒”的美育思想,构建“医学人文英语”课程美育实施路径,即明确课程美育目标,树立语言文化(人文)、医学科学、价值观相融合的“三位一体”整体美原则,采用线上线下混合式第一课堂教学和第二课堂师生共同实践的方式,培养学生的审美、共情能力和正确的人生价值观。 Aesthetic education is the whole-person education concerning the overall development of human sensibility and rationality,and has an irreplaceable function of nurturing people.The course of English for Medical Humanities incorporates aesthetic education.However,there exist problems in implementing its aesthetic education,such as vague teaching goals of aesthetic education,students insufficient understanding of the importance of aesthetic education,inadequate class time,and imperfect setting of course content.Based on Maxine Greene s concept of"Wide-Awakeness"on aesthetic education,a path to carry out aesthetic education in the course of English for Medical Humanities is constructed to cultivate students aesthetic and empathetic abilities and correct values on life by clarifying the objectives of aesthetic education in the course,establishing a threefold principle of overall aesthetic education,which integrates language and culture(humanities),medical science as well as values,and adopting online-offline blended mode in classroom learning and extracurricular activities,in which teachers and students conduct aesthetic education together.
