口译训练中的“互动协同”效应:基于“续译”方法的教学实验研究

摘要 “续译”方法自提出以来在翻译教学领域受到了大量关注,但主要限于笔译训练的应用。该方法是否可用于口译训练以提升口译输出质量尚未有研究涉及。以汉译英口译(视译)为例,开展一项“续译”口译教学实验,并辅以追踪性问卷调查,以验证“续译”方法在本科口译教学当中的促学效果。研究发现:学习者在“续译”训练条件下比在“非续译”训练条件下更倾向于使用“前听/读”双语材料范例译文中的表达进行后续口译输出,即产生了“协同效应”;口译较低水平组在“续译”条件下的口译得分显著高于其在“非续译”条件下的得分,但口译较高水平组未体现出这一促进作用;学习者对“续译”训练的促学作用持积极肯定态度,并愿意在后续口译教学中使用该训练方法。 Continuation task has drawn considerable attention in the field of translation teaching since its introduction,but its application has mostly been limited to written translation training.It is yet to know whether this method is effective in improving interpreting quality.To verify its usefulness in interpreting training and teaching among undergraduate students,this study conducted a Chinese-to-English interpreting(sight translation)pedagogical experiment using interpreting continuation task,which is then followed by a questionnaire investigating students'attitude toward this method.The study found that:students were more inclined to use expressions from the example translation in the bilingual listening/reading material for later interpretation output,demonstrating an alignment effect;the interpreting scores of the lower-level group were significantly higher under the continuation condition than under the non-continuation condition,while the higher-level group did not show this improvement;students held a positive attitude towards the learning effect of the continuation training and were willing to use this training method in subsequent interpreting teaching.
