摘要
本研究力图在探讨已经发展起来的话语分析模式的基础上,择各自所长,建立一个多模态批评(积极)话语综合分析框架。本文首先探讨了自话语分析诞生以来发展起来的八种话语分析模式,同时总结了它们各自的优势和不足。在结合各自优势的基础上,以批评话语分析理论、积极话语分析理论和多模态话语分析理论为基础,发展了一个把多模态批评话语分析理论和多模态积极话语分析理论融为一体的多模态批评(积极)话语综合分析框架,并通过对两个多模态语篇的实例分析做了说明。本文发现,虽然批评话语分析和积极话语分析来自于不同的理论背景,但它们可以共享同一研究模式,其研究的目标具有相似的特点:都把研究的目标集中在语言外的社会文化因素上,并且它们可以在研究领域、研究对象和研究目标上互补。
The present study is intended to investigate how to construct an integrated framework for multimodal critical(positive) Discourse Analysis on the basis of the theories of Discourse Analysis already developed in the field by synthesizing the merits of all these models. First, it introduces the eight models of discourse analysis that have been developed so far since the birth of the theory of Discourse Analysis and studies their merits and limitations. Secondly, based on the theories of Critical Discourse Analysis, Positive Discourse Analysis and Multimodal Discourse Analysis, it develops an integrated framework for multimodal critical(positive) discourse analysis by integrating the models of multimodal critical discourse analysis and multimodal positive discourse analysis and at the same time, making use of the merits of the other models. Finally, two multimodal texts are analyzed to show the validity of the model. It is found that, although critical discourse analysis and positive discourse analysis were developed from different backgrounds, they can nevertheless share the same theoretical model as their research aims share some similarities: Their research targets are sociocultural outside of language, and their research areas, research objectives and research targets complement each other.
