摘要
中原文化走出去离不开以语言为载体的翻译,而翻译又面临源语和目标语在语言符号和文化观念方面的不对等问题。为确保中原文化走出去的效果,译文需要既保持中原文化主体地位又兼顾目的文化读者的接受效果。本文以中原传统文化负载词为切入点,从符号、英雄、仪式和价值观等4个层面探讨日语翻译策略。受汉语的影响日语中存在着大量的汉字词汇,中原传统文化负载词在日语中存在汉日形义完全相同、汉日异形同义、汉日同形异义、汉日形义完全不同等4种情况。本文针对这4种情况提出了使用日语汉字直译、训读法、汉语汉字(日语音读或汉语拼音)+具体化/注释等归化和异化相结合的翻译策略。整体遵循同则归化,异则异化,归化和异化相结合的翻译策略,这样既可以为目标语读者所理解和接受,又可以凸显中原传统文化的特色,引起目标语读者的兴趣。
The Central Plains culture cannot go out without language-based translation, and the unequivalence of language symbols and cultural concepts between the source language and the target language poses challenge. In order to ensure the effect of the Central Plains culture going out, the translation needs to maintain the dominant role of the Central Plains culture and take into account the acceptance effect of readers in the target culture as well. This article takes the traditional culture-loaded words of the Central Plains as the starting point, and discusses Japanese translation strategies at four levels: symbols, heroes, rituals and values. Affected by Chinese, there are a large number of Chinese characters in Japanese. The traditional culture-loaded words of the Central Plains falls into four categories in Japanese: the exact same form and meaning, different forms bearing the same meaning, the same form with different meanings, and completely different forms and different meanings in Chinese and Japanese. In view of these four situations, this paper puts forward translation strategies combining domestication and foreignization, such as literal translation of Japanese kanji, Japanese kunyomi, and Chinese characters(Japanese onyomi or Chinese pinyin) with concretization/annotation. It can not only be understood and accepted by target language readers, but also highlight the characteristics of the Central Plains traditional culture and arouse the interest of target language readers.
