摘要
朱熹是宋明理学的集大成者,但其“存天理,灭人欲”的学说却始终为人所诟病,认为其抹杀了主体实现价值的积极性和创造性。此种理解有失偏颇,朱熹作为先秦儒学继承者,其思想虽受佛学与道学的影响而追求主体形而上的存在意义,但其始终是儒学的卫道者,其思想的核心仍是现实个体追求内圣外王的成仁之道,故“存天理,灭人欲”是其针对“仁”提出的修己安人、去恶存善,是孔子的成仁之道在朱熹思想中的具体体现,其对大学生理想人格培养的方法论意义,在于通过教育和实践使学生不断理解并接受符合人类真善美的理念,从而逐步消除损害人健康发展的各种消极因素,在这样的过程性活动中实现理想人格的培养。
ZHU Xi is a synthesizer of the Neo-Confucianism,but the idea of“Keeping the Justice,Eliminating the Desire”is always denounced because people reckons that it suppresses people’s desire and creativity to realize value.Actually,this understanding is certainly fuzzy.As the successor of Pre Qin Confucianism,though the ideas of ZHU Xi was affected by the Buddhism and Taoism to seek the metaphysics,the core of the idea is still the individual pursuit of the sageness inside and kingliness outside for the ways of benevolence.So the idea of“Keeping the Justice,Eliminating the Desire”is to cultivate oneself and comfort people,exterminate the evil and follow the kindness,focusing on the benevolence,which is the concrete manifestation of the ways of being benevolence of Confucius.The theory has great influence on developing the ideal personality of the undergraduates.It makes them gradually understand and accept the concepts of being true,good and beautiful.Then they gradually eliminate negatives through education and practice,and finally realize the ideal personality in these procedural activities.
