摘要
碳化硼(B4C)陶瓷具有极高的硬度、低密度、高熔点、高弹性模量、高热电动势、高耐化学性、高中子吸收截面、高冲击和优异的耐磨性等优异性能,是一种优异的结构陶瓷。因此,碳化硼陶瓷在民用、宇航和军事等领域都具有广泛的应用。本文综述了促进碳化硼致密化的各种烧结助剂,包括碳助剂、金属助剂、氧化物助剂和碳化物/硼化物助剂,对碳化硼陶瓷的烧结方法和烧结添加剂的研究现状进行了展望。
Boron Carbide(B4C) ceramics, because of its many amazing properties, such as extremely high hardness, low density, high melting point, high elastic modulus, high thermo electromotive force, high chemical resistance, high neutron absorption cross section, high impact and excellent wear resistance, is regarded as excellent structural materials. Boron carbide ceramics are widely used in civil, aerospace and military fields. This paper attempts to review different sintering additives, such as carbon additives, metallic additives, oxide additives, and carbide/boride additives used to promote the densification of boron carbide. Meanwhile, the recent research trends for sintering methods and sintering additives of Boron carbide ceramics are to be proposed.
