摘要
为探讨工作家庭冲突对幼儿教师睡眠质量的影响及其心理机制,本研究建构了一个有调节的中介模型,重点考察职业压力在二者关系中的中介作用,以及反刍思维的调节作用。以537名幼儿教师为被试(M=26.71岁,SD=3.28),采用工作家庭冲突量表、幼儿教师职业压力量表、反刍思维量表、以及匹兹堡睡眠质量量表进行调查。结果发现:1)工作家庭冲突、职业压力、反刍思维以及睡眠质量两两之间存在显著相关;2)在控制了性别和年龄后,工作家庭冲突对睡眠质量具有显著的正向预测作用;3)职业压力在工作家庭冲突与睡眠质量关系中起中介作用,并且工作家庭冲突对睡眠质量以及职业压力的影响都受到反刍思维调节。本研究考察了幼儿教师工作家庭冲突与睡眠质量的关系及其心理机制,拓展了工作家庭冲突与幼儿教师心理、生理健康的研究。
Research has revealed that work-family conflict was a risk factor for poor sleep quality,however,little is known about the underlying mechanisms that may mediate or moderate this association.Specifically,the present study examined whether work-family conflict would be indirectly related to kindergarten teachers’sleep quality through the experience of occupational stress,and whether this indirect association would be moderated by the kindergarten teachers’rumination.This integrated model can address questions about both mediation and moderation in one model.Its results would be helpful to answer the issues such as“what works for whom”,and provide valuable information for early identification and prevention that cannot be obtained by separately testing the two questions.Methods:A sample of 537 Kindergarten teacher(Mean ages=26.37)was recruited to complete measures of work-family conflict,occupational stress,rumination and sleep quality.Results:The study showed that occupational stress partially mediated the relationship between work-family conflict and sleep quality.Besides,both the effect of work-family conflict on sleep quality and the mediating effect of occupational stress were moderated by rumination.The present study can advance our understanding of how work-family conflict leads to poor sleep quality.Testing mediator and moderator variables in a single model could generate more comprehensive information than assessing two separate models.These findings contribute to our understanding of how and when work-family conflict impacts kindergarten teachers’sleep quality.Limitations and implications of this study are discussed.
