The personnel training of Zhejiang Dongyang woodcarving has experienced the changes from closing the only woodcarving vocational school to starting woodcarving major in 4 vocational schools. The profound causes likeyoungsters’ superficial understanding on traditional folk culture and its value, people’s prejudice on vocational arteducation, despising “craftsman” in traditional view, and learners failing to take the burden of “hard to learn, hardto get a job” bring the closure to the Dongyang Woodcarving Vocational School. The rapid development of the industryand various policies promote the start of the woodcarving major in 4 vocational schools. The start of the wood carvingmajor in 4 vocational schools and joint education provides multilevel talents, and makes the personnel training of Dongyang woodcarving move forward to systematization and highend. Based on the situation that the proportion of traditional apprenticeship training is too high, the status of school traditional arts and crafts education is relatively lowand African traditional arts and crafts education foundation is weak, this article offers countermeasures on applicationof education experience of Zhejiang traditional arts and crafts in Sino African Cooperation by combining the specificexperience: construct the traditional arts and crafts education system which is harmony with the development of traditional arts and crafts industry; optimize the external environment for the development of traditional arts and crafts education.
