摘要
本文集中阐述了福柯借助"乌托邦"概念对"异托邦"概念的核心表述及二者的关系,以期以此为理论基础反思现代"文学"概念的"异托邦"功能,即欧洲现代"文学"概念的产生与现代民族国家的建构过程同构,现代"文学异托邦"因而命名、表征甚至抗议了现代民族国家的逻辑。我们可以在现代"文学"中阅读现代民族国家的建构过程,反思欧洲现代语言的本质并进而证明现代"文学"概念的非本质性,同时还可以在现代文学中探查与民族国家建构相伴随的整个欧洲现代性的表征与反抗问题。这一研究也有助于我们在中国的语境中反观产生于欧洲的现代"文学"所必然含有的现代西方民族国家认同的历史性因素,在还原西方现代"文学"的诞生语境中发现文学的现实维度和我们研究外国文学的中国主体意识和距离意识。
This paper focuses on Foucault＇s articulations on ＂heterotopias,＂ a concept based on ＂utopias,＂ and the relationship between these two concepts. It intends to reflect on the heterotopian function of modern literature which refers to the fact that the creation of modern European literature and that ofmodernn nation-states shares the same structure. Therefore, modern literature heterotopia names, represents and even contests modern nation-states. We can read the construction process of modern nation-states in modern literature, and reflect on the essence of modern European language or even prove that modern literature as a concept is constructed and historical, while exploring how modern literature represents and contests European modernity. In Chinese contexts, this study helps us to rethink the historical factors in national identities which are inherently expressed in modern European literature, in this way, it urges us to distance ourselves from our object and identify our own subjectivity in foreign literature studies.
