摘要
法国文学理论家杰哈·简奈特所提出的超文本成分及其研究方法,主要是针对文学作品而言的。如今,超文本范畴已经从纯文学作品拓宽到非文学作品,其定义已经涵盖了文本产生的文化环境、经济条件、政治体制及审查制度等大环境因素。将这一概念应用到新闻翻译中,分别对几组新闻的英汉互译进行考察,试图探究影响新闻翻译的超文本因素。研究结果显示,读者期待视野、赞助人、传统价值观、翻译目的、传播媒介和市场因素等均对新闻翻译施加影响,从而更好地揭示了新闻翻译的本质。
The idea of "hypertext" and its research method put forward by French literary theorist Gerard ·Genette are mainly for literary works. Now, the category of hypertext has been extended to the non-literature works, and its definition has included the environmental factors such as the cultural environment ,economic condi- tions, political system ,censorship and so on. This essay applies this concept to news translation by analyzing the rendering of several pieces of news, attempting to examine the impact of hypertext factors on news translation. The result shows that the readers' expectation,the patronage,the traditional values,the translation purpose, the media and the market factors all exert an influence on news translation, thus better revealing the nature of news translation.
