摘要
首次在译学界提出了文本目的和非文本目的这对概念,首次区分了翻译的文本行为和非文本行为,批评了德国功能派理论对这两对概念的混淆,分析了意大利谚语“翻译者即叛逆者”的寓意,指出翻译之文本行为乃译者的基本行为,翻译之文本目的乃译者的根本目的。
This essay puts forward a pair of new concepts in the domain of translation studies, i.e. textual purpose and non - textual purpose, expounds for the first time textual activity as opposed to non - textual one, criticizes Skopos theory for confusing these two purposes and activities and analyzes the moral of the Italian epigram ＂Traduttore, traditore.＂ The author argues that textual activity is the privilege of translators and textual purpose is translators＇ fundamental purpose.
