The role of IL-17 in the airway remodeling of bronchial asthma

摘要 支气管哮喘(哮喘)的气道重塑是一个复杂的过程,涉及气道上皮到外膜的所有组织。影响气道重塑的因素有很多,近年来由辅助性T细胞17分泌的白细胞介素-17(IL-17)在气道重塑中的作用受到广泛的关注。研究发现IL-17在一定程度上影响哮喘患儿的气道重塑,但其具体作用及其相关机制还不是很明确,阐明IL-17的来源、结构特点和生物学特性、IL-17与气道重塑的各结构细胞改变的关系及IL-17介导的中性粒细胞在气道重塑中的作用等将为哮喘患儿的预防和治疗提供新的方向。 Airway remodeling in bronchial asthma is a complicated process,which involves tissues from airway epithelium to adventitia. There are many factors that affect airway remodeling,recently,IL-17 ,secreted by Helper T cells,is arousing more and more interests. It has been reported that IL-17 contributes to airway remode-ling in asthmatic children, but its certain role and relative mechanisms are still unclear. So elucidating its origin, structural and biological characters ,relationship with structural changes, and IL-17-mediated leukocytes in airway remodeling may provide new targets for preventive and therapeutic intervention.
