摘要
两届"外教社杯"全国大学英语教学大赛的成功举办引发了外语界对大学英语课堂教学的关注以及对课堂教学有效性的思考。本文首先回顾国内外语言课堂教学的评价视角,随后以教学大赛为契机,从大赛的评分标准入手调查参赛各方对课堂教学评价标准的看法,获悉不同评价主体对有效课堂教学的诠释,比较他们在评价维度上的异同,进而探讨适合我国大学英语课堂教学的评价体系。
The SFLEP National College English Teaching Contest has drawn nationwide attention to English language classroom instructions and concern over effective language teaching. This study hereby aims to explore a set of systematic assessment criteria for classroom instructions. After a review of previous discussions on effective language teaching at home and abroad, it underlines some critical elements of effective teaching and assessment. Then the study conducts a multidimensional survey to gain an insight into effective teaching and proper assessment basically from the perspectives of the EFL scholars and teachers. Thus, it draws on the perceptions of different evaluators. The study is wrapped up with a systematic assessment framework of college English classroom instructions, which highlights teaching objectives, integrates teaching and learning, applies weight to different elements, and combines both the global and the analytical assessment.
