摘要
所有翻译实践都建立在语言的可译性基础上,因而翻译理论的研究本体既是语言也是翻译实践本身。研究对象的差异导致翻译理论具有不同的研究指向,形成理论的多层面性,因此与翻译实践有着不同程度的相关性。只有充分理解翻译理论之间的差异,通过分析形式对其有效解析,才能观察到它们与翻译实践之间的相关程度。本文通过对语言本质及特性的分析、对翻译过程的讨论、对理论的分类、对理论与翻译实践之间相关性的逻辑推演来解释翻译理论与翻译实践之间的相关程度问题。
Translation practice bases itself on the translatability of language, so it follows that theories of translation come from both language and translation practice. The different objectives make the translation theories vary, and result in different relatedness with translation practice. So, it is by fully understanding the differences and through the analytical deconstruction of translation the- ories that we are able to see the degrees of relatedness between translation theories and translation practice. Through the exploration of the nature and special features of language, analysis of translation process, classification of translation theories and logical deduction of the relation between theories and practice, this paper tends to explain the relatedness of translation theories with translation practice.
