儿童三语习得中元语言意识的发展对我国少数民族外语教育政策制定的启示 被引量:46

The development of children's metalinguistic awareness in third language acquisition and its implications in formulating foreign language education policies for ethnic minority learners

摘要 本研究发现从第一语言、第二语言到第三语言学习中元语言意识呈现发展状态,其发展不仅与第一、第二语言的水平状况及语言类型有关,还受年龄因素的影响。该研究成果对我国少数民族地区外语教育政策的制定有启示意义。首先应允许学校根据学习者掌握语言的实际情况决定是否或者何时开设英语课程;其次,建议在少数民族地区开设与自己民族文化和语言类型相近的区域性外语种类。最后,制定少数民族地区外语教育政策,有针对性地开展少数民族地区的外语教师培训工作。 The research finds that the development of metalinguistic awareness in the learning process from the first to the second,and the third language shows an incremental trend.This development was influenced by the proficiency of the first and second languages,and closely related to linguistic distance and age.The results of the study may inform foreign language education policy making for ethnic minority learners in formulating guidelines for the foreign language courses in ethnic minority regions.
