摘要
中国英语(China English)是英语国家使用的语言跟中国特有的社会文化相结合的产物,是一种客观存在。中国人在中国本土使用英语不可避免地会产生中国特点,具有了中国特点的中国英语随着中国国际社会地位和国际话语权的逐步提高,将会越来越多地被国际社会接受与认可,并在传扬中国优秀文化方面扮演重要角色。这里的中国英语绝不能等同于中式英语(Ch inglish),笔者认同"中国英语和中国式英语虽然同在一个连续体上,但是后者向前者的转化非常有限"这一观点,认为中国英语在句法层面亦有体现。通过英汉民族思维模式的差异比较,可以说明中国英语和中式英语之间的联系以及两者之间的有限转化。
China English,as a language phenomenon,is the product of a combination from those expressions denoting things with Chinese characteristics.It＇s unavoidable for a Chinese to produce English with Chinese characteristics when English is used in China.More and more China English will be acceptable to native English speakers in the international society and play a vital role in introducing Chinese brilliant culture to the west with the improvement of Chinese position and its power of discourse.It＇s necessary to declare that China English here could never be viewed as Chinglish.The author agrees that China English and Chinglish are lineable as non-individual body,but it＇s less possible for the latter to transform into the former and that there does appear reflection at syntactic or textual level of China English.This paper is to elaborate China English and its distinction with Chinglish and show how the transformation occurs between them by a contrastive study of Chinese and English in thought pattern.
