摘要
中国英语必须满足两个标准:为表达中国特有的事物而产生以及能为英语本族语者所接受。按照这两个标准,中国英语一般只存在于词汇层面,在句法层面和篇章层面几乎不存在。当前中国英语研究在研究方法和实践上也存在弊端。
China English could be defined as those expressions denoting things with Chinese characteristics and acceptable to native English speakers. Accordingly,China English exists only at lexical level but not at syntactic or textual level. The present China English study is hindered due to problems both in methodology and practice.
