石油化工英语属于专门用途英语,其词汇的构成具有独特的特征。从派生词、复合词和缩略词几个方面出发,分析了石油化工英语词汇的构词方式,并分别探讨了它们的翻译方法。
As a branch of ESP,petrochemical English vocabulary has its distinctive features.This paper analyzes petrochemical English word-formation techniques in terms of derivatives,compounds and abbreviations,and also explores some appropriate methods for its translation.
