摘要
双语词典涉及两种语言符号系统,必然要处理至少两种民族的文化,提供文化信息不仅是双语词典自身的要求,同时也是读者的需要。双语词典既是读者学习和研究语言的资源,又是了解民族文化的重要窗口。
Two language systems are involved in a bilingual dictionary, and two specific cultures will be dealt with in dictionary compiling. Providing cultural information is to meet both the fundamental requirement of a bilingual dictionary and its readers’ needs. A bilingual dictionary will not only be a reservoir for language learning and studying, but also a window to demonstrate national cultures.
