摘要
双语教学是我国高校培养“专业+外语”复合型人才的重要手段,完成学科目标内容是它的主要属性,外语应用能力的提高是次要属性。目前,地方普通高校双语教学中,普遍存在着对双语教学认识不清、定位不准、师资不足、教材不对路、孤军奋战等问题。实施双语教学是一个系统工程,需要在课程规划、教材建设、师资培训、教学模式、教学管理等方面进行探讨和实践,保证双语教学的渐进性、系统性、实用性和有效性,全校一盘棋,构建完整的双语教学和管理体系。
Bilingual education is an important approach to the cultivation of interdisciplinary personnel with a mastery of a foreign language in higher education. The bilingual education in Chinese universities implies that a non -linguistic subject course is taught partially or wholly in a foreign language, whose primary attribute is sub ject-orientedness and secondary the language instruction. Nowadays, however, there exist a lot of problems in the bilingual education in local universities, which calls for a holistic solution involving such factors as curriculum development, teaching material construction, teacher training, and reforms in the teaching mode and administration.
