摘要
翻译是一种跨文化交际活动。文化缺省是不同文化交际之间出现的重要的语言文化现象。随着口译研究的进一步深入,口译中的文化缺省现象的研究越来越受到重视。口译中,文化缺省现象处理得体,译文就畅快;反之,则译文模糊,表达不清。文章以温家宝总理在剑桥大学演讲的英汉对照文本为例,从谚语或诗句、习语、历史和国情等方面分析了文化缺省现象,并提出在口译教学中注意加强翻译对策的培训。
