主题意义引领下的初中英语单元整体教学策略探究——以“You Are Supposed to Shake Hands.”的教学设计为例

摘要 单元是落实课程标准理念和培养学生核心素养的基本实践单位。主题意义是英语课程内容的六大要素之一,对培养全面发展的人有重要意义。主题意义下的单元整体教学与整体外语教学理念不谋而合,符合学生以主题为统领建构认知图式的语言知识习得规律。基于主题意义引领下的单元教学,体现了教学目标的整体性、教学内容的系统性,彰显了英语学习活动观,有效改变了传统分散式学习现状。本文结合人教版《英语》教材的教学案例探讨实施主题意义下单元整体教学应遵循的原则和可采用的策略。 Unit is the basic practice unit to implement the curriculum standard concept and cultivate the core quality of students. Thematic meaning is one of the six elements of English curriculum content, which is of great significance to the cultivation of all-round development. The concept of unit whole teaching in the sense of theme coincides with the concept of whole foreign language teaching, and conforms to the law of language knowledge acquisition in which students construct cognitive schema based on theme. Unit teaching guided by thematic meaning reflects the integrity of teaching objectives and the systematization of teaching content, highlights the activity view of English learning, and effectively changes the status quo of traditional distributed learning. This paper discusses the principles and strategies that should be followed in the whole unit teaching under the meaning of implementing the theme based on the teaching cases of the English textbook for People’s Education.
