1991年第三季度,全球地震活动水平中等偏低,频度偏少。美国西海岸以外海域发生四次强震。7月14日,阿富汗苏联边界发生较大中深震,但第三季度内亚欧带东段并无较大的浅源地震发生。目前,全球范围未见有地震活动的低水平异常。
The global seismicity during the 3rd quarter of the year 1991 is of medium level or slightly lower and its frequency is on the decrease.Four strong earthquakes occurred in the sea areas off the west coast of the United States.A greater intermediate earthquake occurred on the Afghan-USSR border region on July 14,but no greater shallow earthquakes occurred on the eastern part Of the Eurasian belt during the 3rd quarter.At present,anomalies of low seismicity level have not appeared in the whole world.
