The global seismicity of the first quarter of the year 1987 appeared to be active. After the occurrence of several large earthquakes,the frequencies of moderate earthquakes increased in the whole world.Earthquake migration along the northern border of the Pa- cific Ocean developed slowly.Seismic activity of the Eurasian belt was relatively calm.
