摘要
转换是重要的英译技巧之一,是避免中式英语的主要手段。本文指出句式转换、句子成分转换及词类转换三者是一有机整体,阐述了句式转换的四种类型、缘由及其综合运用,使译文既忠实于原作的内容与神韵,又使译语更符合英语的语言规范。
Conversion,as one of major C-E translation techniques,is an important way to avoid pidgin English.The thesis pointed out that the three kinds of conversion of sentence patterns,sentence members and parts of speech are an organic whole and expounded the four types and reasons of sentence pattern conversion and its synthetic application.Only in this way can translation be both loyal to the content and romatic charm of originals and more suitable to English language standard.
