摘要
针对目前译学界对杨宪益、戴乃迭合译作品的研究与对戴乃迭独立完成的译介作品的研究的极不平衡性,结合一定的历史文献、传记文学和译介作品,从译者文化身份的角度对戴乃迭作为一名独立译介者展开研究,弥补一些译学界对于戴乃迭作为一名独立译介者关注的不足,引起译学界对于戴乃迭以自主姿态从事译介活动的研究兴趣。在研读王安忆《人人之间》英译本的基础上,以综合研究和译本分析相结合、宏观叙述与案例研究相结合的方式,客观总结、归纳和阐述戴乃迭如何通过对拟译译本的选择、对源语国社会文化的理解以及翻译中所采取的策略,在其独立完成的译介作品中构建自己的文化身份。
Aiming at the imbalance of current research in translation studies on the translated work by Yang Xianyi and Gladys Yang, and the work translated independently by Gladys Yang, this paper probes into Gladys Yang as an independent translator from the perspective of the translator's cultural identity with the help of some historical literature, biographical literature and translated work.It intends to stimulate people's interests in Gladys Yang as an independent translator.Based on the study of Be-tween Themselves by Wang Anyi, and through comprehensive research and study on the translated text, the combination of micro narration and case study, this paper summarizes and elaborates on the construction of cultural identity in work independently translated by Gladys Yang through selection of source texts, understanding of source language culture and translation strategies.
