摘要
对国外翻译界归化与异化翻译原则的争论进行了探讨,认为归化与异化之争分为语言形式与文化两个不同的层面,不可混同,进而提出了我国翻译界应结合国情制定恰当的多元化的翻译策略。
This paper expounds the translating principles of domestication and foreignization and the discussions conducted at present in China and abroad.The author argues that the conflict beween domestication and foreignization are conducted from two different perspectives: the postcolonial contest and traditional linguistics. In order to promote a healthy and equal cultural exchange in the contemporary era, translators should make proper choice of translating pringciples based on specific social situations.
