摘要
在全球化浪潮下,中国典籍的外译面临着机遇和挑战。沈复的自传体小说《浮生六记》中融入了丰富的中国文化元素,描绘了当时社会的文化面貌。文章选取林语堂翻译的《浮生六记》作为研究对象,旨在探讨归化和异化两种翻译策略在字词、句式和文风等方面的运用,以期对提高中国典籍的英译质量产生启发性的意义,促进中华文化在国际上的传播。
Under the wave of globalization,the translation of Chinese classics faces both opportunities and challenges.Shen Fu's autobiographical novel Six Records of a Floating Life incorporates rich elements of Chinese culture and depicts the cultural landscape of the time.This paper selects Lin Yutang's translation of Six Records of a Floating Life as the research object,aiming to explore the application of domestication and foreignization strategies in terms of vocabulary,sentence structure,and writing style.The study intends to provide inspiring insights for improving the quality of English translations of Chinese classics and promoting the dissemination of Chinese culture internationally.
