摘要
文章利用多物种民族志、深度访谈等方法,以“抱树”为观察切口,探讨了当代青年与树木之间的相互纠缠及他们的“共同生成”。研究发现:“抱树”是人与树之间的“交染”:一方面,从童年时期的陪伴到青年时期的社交拓展,人与树的纠缠贯穿了当代青年的整个生命历程;另一方面,人能在“抱树”期间获得或拟物或拟人的跨物种生命体验;从线下参与到线上社群营造,“抱树”群体经历了从“玩”到“微政治”的过程,对“抱树”日常分享的鼓励将“远方的自然”转化为“身边的日常”;“抱树”的零成本特性能够在一定程度上规避被消费主义物化的风险,但仍须时刻关注“附近的纠缠”,认识到生命体之间不仅仅在空间上接近,更在生态层面上相互依赖和相互作用。
The article employs methods such as multispecies ethnography and in-depth interviews,taking“tree-hugging”as a point of observation to explore the entanglements between contemporary youth and trees,as well as their“becoming-with”.The study reveals the following:(1)“Tree-hugging”represents a“contamination”between humans and trees.On one hand,from childhood companionship to the expansion of social interactions in youth,the entanglements between humans and trees run through the entire life course of contemporary youth.On the other hand,individuals can gain cross-species life experiences that involve either objectification or anthropomorphism during the act of“tree-hugging”.(2)From offline participation to online community building,the“tree-hugging”group has experienced a shift from“play”to“micropolitics,”where the encouragement of daily sharing about tree hugging transforms“distant nature”into“everyday proximity”.(3)The zero-cost nature of“tree-hugging”can,to some extent,avoid the risks of being commodified by consumerism,but it is still necessary to pay constant attention to“the nearby’s entanglements”,recognizing that life forms are not only spatially close but also ecologically dependent on and interact with each other.
