摘要
翻译错误是与翻译活动相伴相随的“副产品”,是反映翻译活动特点规律的“一扇窗户”,研究翻译错误现象具有跨学科意义。由于受译学偏重宏观理论、文学典籍翻译及与后现代话语共生等传统的影响,翻译错误研究长期陷入“有实而无名”的困境,导致学科发育不良,知识生产碎片化。翻译错误研究的主要问题集中在学科自觉、“翻译错误”概念认识、语料库构建、认知维度实证探索等四个方面。本文分析了以上问题并提出了相应建议,指出克服这四个问题是翻译错误研究未来重要的发展方向与增长空间。
Translation errors are the byproduct of translation and a"window"into the features and laws of translation ac-tivities.Studying translation errors has interdisciplinary significance.Under the influence that translation studies tradi-tionally pivot around macroscopic theory,literature and classics translation and postmodern discourse,translation error studies are in the dilemma of having"nature"but without"name",suffering from stagnant disciplinization and the frag-mentation of knowledge production.This paper focuses on four main problems of translation error studies:discipline awareness,the understanding of"translation error"concept,corpus compilation and cognitive empirical exploration.More-over,it offers suggestions,pointing out that facing the challenges from the four aforementioned aspects will constitute the promising development directions and space of translation error studies in the future.
