摘要
《英国状况·十八世纪》是恩格斯曼彻斯特时期唯物史观初步确立过程中的重要文献。通过这一文本,可以看出曼彻斯特时期的恩格斯对唯物史观的初步确立作出了重要贡献,主要表现在三个方面:从工业革命视角认定“物质利益”是现代世界发展的决定力量;从“物”的视角揭示资本主义社会中的颠倒关系;从社会发展视角阐发人的自由实现。可见,曼彻斯特时期的恩格斯已经对唯物史观有了初步的表达,由此出发,青年恩格斯与青年马克思的紧密合作具备了坚实思想基础。
British Situation:18 Century is an important document in the initial establishment of Engels historical materialism in Manchester.It can be seen from the analysis that Engels in the Manchester period made important contributions to the initial establishment of historical materialism,which is mainly reflected in three aspects:starting from the industrial revolution,recognized that"material interests"are the decisive force for the development of the modern world.From the perspective of"things",reveal the inverted relationships that appear in capitalist society.Thinking about the realization of human freedom from the perspective of social development.These important understandings indicate the historical materialism factors in Engels'thoughts in the Manchester period,which are enough to form a solid ideological foundation for young Engels to closely cooperatewithyoungMarx.
