摘要
动词及物性和句子及物性是不同的及物性,二者不是非此即彼的选择,而是互动关联的。二者的区别为:(1)及物性作为及物动词所特有的特征和属性,由动词的结构意义和词汇体共同决定,而句子及物性是整个句子结构的整体属性,由多种参数共同决定。(2)动词及物性和句子及物性是分别在抽象的句子和具体的句子中考察的结果。(3)动词及物性是一个静态的固定特征,并不因语境的变化而变化,而句子及物性是动词及物性在言语交际中的具体落实情况,是动态变化的。(4)及物动词内部并不同质,动词及物性具有层级性。句子及物性的高低呈现出逐渐过渡的连续性特征,是个程度问题。二者的互动联系在于:动词及物性影响句子及物性,但两者的互动过程中动词及物性会受制于句子及物性。
sentences and concrete sentences respectively.(2)T Transitivity,astthe characteristic and fundamental attribute of transitive verbs,is determined by the semantic structure and lexical aspect of the verb whereas sentence transitivity,as the whole attribute of the entire sentence structure,is decided by various parameters.(3)Verb transitivity remains fixed and static,and will not change with the context.Sentence transitivity is dynamic since it is the concrete implementation of verb transitivity in verbal communication.(4)Transitive verbs are not homogenous within themselves,but hierarchical with respect to the degree of the transitivity.Sentence transitivity constitutes a transitivity continuum and hence is a matter of degree.Verb transitivity affects sentence transitivity,but is often under the control of the latter in their interaction.
