摘要
地方濒危戏剧属于弱势文化,在国内发展中受到主流剧种的挤压,生存条件不容乐观。弱势文化可以通过国际传播扩大影响,再由外而内逆序发展赶超强势文化。翻译可以成为弱势文化复兴的重要渠道。地方戏剧可以通过国际传播重新获得国内受众的关注和振兴发展的动力。由于面临“作者已死”“读者已死”的尴尬局面,地方濒危戏剧的对外传播需要多方紧密合作、共同努力。在此过程中,翻译传播活动的参与主体作出的种种努力都可以通过翻译动机来分析和评价。文章以淮河流域濒危戏剧——推剧为例,通过分析翻译动机在宏观、中观和微观上的种种表现,旨在探讨地方濒危戏剧在国际翻译传播中的可行策略和方案,以期能够有效提高传播效率,提升传播效果,推动地方濒危剧种的复兴发展。
As weak cultures,local endangered dramas,in their domestic development,are constantly squeezed by mainstream dramas,facing austere survival conditions.Through international communication,weak cultures can realize a reverse development through the international publicity and overtake strong cultures.Translation can serve as an important channel for revitalization of the weak culture.To regain public attention and revitalization,those local endangered dramas can turn to international publicity for solutions.Since their decline coincides with“death of the author”and“death of the reader”,the international communication of those dramas requires concerted efforts from all sides.In this process,the attempts by participants of the translation communication can be analyzed from the perspective of translation motives.This paper,taking the Tui Drama as an example,dissects manifestation of translation motives from micro,intermediate and macro perspectives and explores workable translation and communication solutions so as to optimize communication efficiency,promote publicity effect and catalyze the reinvigoration of local endangered dramas.
