It is necessary to coordinate and well handle the relationship between universities and teachers so as to promote the professional development of teachers and the overall development of universities. In reality, the relationship between universities and teachers is very complex and should be examined from a multidisciplinary perspective. As found in the examination of the relationship between universities and teachers from a multidisciplinary perspective, the relationship between universities and teachers is“instrumental”from the perspective of the organizational management,a game from the perspective of economics,an exchange from the perspective of sociology, and it has undergone the transformation from the“identity relationship”to the“contract relationship”and realized formal equality from the perspective of history. However, the relationship between universities and teachers is essentially an unequal one based on resource dependence. From the perspective of pedagogy, the relationship between universities and teachers is constructed with the“cultural capital”as a link,so as to achieve a win-win situation between universities and teachers in the educational and academic fields. In order to coordinate the relationship between universities and teachers in the future, efforts should be made to not only solve current problems but also maintain the good relationship.
