摘要
本文简要回顾了铁路技术标准外文版工作开展情况,从分析铁路技术标准的文本特点出发,结合翻译案例,阐述翻译铁路技术标准时可能会遇到的问题,归纳铁路技术标准英译原则,以期为提高铁路技术标准翻译质量、促进标准翻译的规范化和专业化提供启示。
This paper has reviewed the translation of railway technical standards into other languages.Based on an analysis of the text features of the technical standards,the author has elaborated on the potential difficulties in translation practices.The paper then exemplified the Chinese-English translation principles with specific cases from the actual work of standard translation.It is hoped that the principles can offer implications for improving the translation quality of railway technical standard and promoting the standardization and professionalization of standard translation in general.
