摘要
本研究采用质性个案研究方法,依托活动理论,对一名非通用语种职前教师的海外语言学习经历进行了纵向探究。多源数据分析发现,该教师在语言学习活动中遭遇了多重挑战,如中介资源不适当或不健全,共同体成员不遵守应有的规则与劳动分工安排等。然而,在考试压力和内在动机等因素的综合驱动下,该教师通过自我鼓励、加强自学以及主动寻求课外补习资源等能动策略,一定程度上有效应对了外部因素带来的制约。本研究对我国非通用语种职前教师海外培养项目建设具有一定的启示意义。
Taking a qualitative case study approach,this study collected multiple sources of data to examine a pre-service Less-Commonly-Taught-Language(LCTL)teacher’s overseas language learn-ing experience.Informed by activity theory,data analysis showed that this teacher encountered vari-ous challenges in his LCTL learning such as inappropriate or problematic mediational resources and the community members’failure to follow the rules and perform the division of labor.However,driv-en by examination pressure and intrinsic motivation,the participant teacher responded actively to the external constraints through self-encouragement,strengthening learning beliefs,and seeking extra-curricular tutorial resources.This study has shed light upon the overseas training program for pre-service LCTL teachers in China.
