摘要
百年中国考古学取得了一系列的成就,继往开来,有必要进行总结,思考与分析还需要完成的任务,展望未来可能取得的突破。从理论的视角的考察更可能把握学科发展的要旨。总结百年中国考古学的成就,可以归纳为四个方面:科学考古学的学科体系的形成、中国史前史时空框架的建立、史前史上若干重大问题的解释、考古学应用体系的发展。反思当前中国考古学面临的主要任务,其中包括与透物见人考古推理相关的理论建设、人文视角的研究、世界视野、进一步发展考古学的应用体系等。在可以预见的将来,中国考古学最有可能获得突破的三个方向是中华文明探源、人文考古与科技考古。
Over the past century, Chinese archaeology has made series of important achievements.To consistently make these kinds of breakthroughs in the future, it is both necessary and important to retrospect and summarize what have been done in the past, evaluate and analyze the tasks to be completed, and foresee the possible breakthroughs to be made in the future. A theoretical perspective is especially crucial in such retrospect and prospect because it allows us to better grasp the essential elements in the development of archaeology as a discipline. The major achievements of Chinese archaeology in the past century can be summarized from four aspects: the formation of scientific archaeology as a discipline;the construction of spatial-temporal frameworks for prehistoric China;the interpretive framework for major issues related to prehistoric archaeology;and the development and potential applications of archaeology. Reflecting on the major challenges the Chinese archaeology has been facing, we can foresee the importance of theory-building underlying archaeological reasoning(namely, relating archaeological remains to human behaviors), with a humanities perspective and a global vision and hoping to discover potential applications of archaeology. It is not difficult for us to foresee that, in future, Chinese archaeology will very likely make important breakthroughs in Chinese civilizations studies, archaeology in a humanities perspective, and archaeological science.
