Objective To explore the effect of“five-in-one”teaching method on the teaching quality of pediatric internal medicine practice. Methods With the random number table method,78 interns in the pediatric medicine department of our hospital from January 2020 to February 2021 were divided into observation group and control group, with 39 cases in each group. In the control group routine teaching method was adopted and the“five-in-one”teaching method was used in the observation group. The assessment results of theoretical knowledge and practical operation drills, the evaluation of teaching effect by interns, and the satisfaction rate of children’s families were compared between the two groups. Results After teaching, the interns in the observation group had better performance in the theoretical knowledge and practical operation drills than those in the control group(P<0.05).The rate of positive assessment by the interns in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05);the satisfaction rate of the family members in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The“five-in-one”teaching method can improve the professional knowledge and practical operation capability of pediatric interns, with relatively higher teaching quality, and the family members of children patients are relatively more satisfied in the practice process of interns,so it is suggested to be popularized and applied in clinical teaching.
