高速公路开通对居民福利的影响--基于中国家庭追踪调查(CFPS)数据 被引量:10

摘要 交通基础设施的投资建设一直以来被视为促进我国经济飞速发展的重要动力,高速公路作为交通基础设施的重要组成部分,对我国社会经济和民生发展等方面影响深远。本文基于2010—2018年的中国家庭追踪调查数据和高速公路建设数据,利用双重差分法,实证检验了交通基础设施对我国居民福利的影响。研究发现,高速公路的开通能够显著提高居民收入水平,尤其是对土地和收入禀赋较差家庭的收入水平的提高更显著。这主要在于高速公路的建设促进了农村劳动力外出务工和当地村庄工资水平的上升,进而显著提升家庭的工资性收入。进一步研究发现,高速公路对居民消费支出并无显著的促进作用,但服务性消费比重显著上升,说明居民消费结构有所优化。此外,我们还发现,高速公路会使得家庭储蓄上升,这可能是家庭房贷支出上升的结果。 The investment and construction of transportation infrastructure has always been regarded as an important driving force for the rapid development of China's economy.As an important part of transportation infrastructure,Highway has a profound impact on China's social economy and people's livelihood development.This paper uses CFPS 2010-2018 tracking survey data and highway construction data,taking the construction of highways as a natural experiment and using the difference in differences method to empirically analyze the impact of transportation infrastructure on the welfare of Chinese residents.The results show that:the opening of highways can significantly increase the income of residents,especially the families with low land and income endowments.This is mainly because the construction of the highway promotes the rural labor to work outside and rise the local village wage level,and then significantly increases the family income.Further research found that highway did not significantly promote the consumption expenditure of residents,but the proportion of service consumption increased significantly,indicating that the consumption structure of residents has been optimized.In addition,we also found that highways can increase household savings,which may be the result of rising household mortgage expenditures.
